Goals of Community Education

  •      To develop a balanced Community Education program for all age groups;         preschoolers through senior citizens.

  •      To develop and use an active, representative Advisory Council.

  •      To maximize the use of school and community facilities throughout the district.

  •      To implement an ongoing needs assessment process to determine wants, needs and resources.

  •      To coordinate efforts with other agencies.  Community Education stresses the partnership of school, home and community in the areas of education, recreation, cultural and civic affairs, health, social services and neighborhood concerns.
