Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Single Site Educational Proposal

Understanding the Single Site Education Proposal

This page has the updates about our decision to move our school district to a single site for PreK through 12th grade. The single site is about more than just one location—it’s about creating a dynamic, collaborative environment where students, teachers, and families can thrive together.

On this page, you’ll find everything you need to know about this decision making process, including: district updates, Frequently Asked Questions and next steps.

This decision making process represents our commitment to providing the best possible learning environment for all students, while building a safe and supportive school community with a shared responsibility of quality education for all.

  • The School Board is scheduled to make a decision on moving to a single site for the 26-27 school year in June 2025.
  • The School Board Meeting agenda will continue to have updates/discussion items when needed to discuss as a board until the decision is made.
  • An Organizational Analysis Study is currently being conducted by an outside consultant to assess feasibility of the proposal of a single site.  This will be presented in public before the decision is made.
  • A community meeting is to be held before the decision is made.  This meeting is still in the process of being scheduled.
